Helping Clients Face What Happened without Feeling Alone

Erin Staniszeski, LCSW

Erin is a Certified EMDR Therapist and EMDR Consultant with extensive training and experience helping clients navigate trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, and the long term effects of growing up with emotionally unavailable parents.

For over 20 years, Erin has dedicated herself to helping survivors heal from some of life’s most difficult experiences with specialized expertise in sexual assault, mass shootings, complex trauma, and post-traumatic stress. Her deep knowledge of trauma treatment is matched by a commitment to making therapy feel human, authentic, and grounded in real connection.

Known for her warm, direct, and authentic style, Erin creates a therapeutic environment where clients feel safe, understood, and empowered. She brings humor when it is helpful, honesty when it is needed, and a steady presence when things feel overwhelming. Erin believes healing happens within safe relationships and by addressing not only thoughts and emotions, but also the ways trauma and stress become stored within the nervous system.

Whether you’re carrying the impact of a single traumatic event or years of accumulated experiences, Erin offers a compassionate space to process what happened, reconnect with your strengths and move forward. She isn’t afraid of the hard things, and when you’re doing the work of healing, she’ll be right there with you - helping you make sense of your story and reminding you that you don’t have to do it alone.

Stella

Stella is a Mini Whoodle and therapy dog in training who helps make the office feel warm and approachable. Some clients appreciate her quiet company during sessions, while others prefer a dog-free space. Either way, Stella is happy to offer comfort or give clients room when needed.
